Dr. Davis is a clinical psychologist and has been in private practice since 2005.  He has extensive experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, oppositional behaviors and self-esteem issues, and sexual abuse.  Additionally Dr. Davis has been qualified as an expert witness for cases involving sexual abuse or perpetration, state custody issues, and parental fitness.

Dr. Davis has a unique expertise in parent training and coaching with cases involving moderate to severe behavioral disruption, school issues, adolescent issues, parental alienation and managing parenting in situations involving divorce. Dr. Davis has performed speaking engagements and trainings for staff and facilities on parenting methods.

Dr. Davis utilizes empirically validated cognitive behavioral treatment approaches with an underlying emphasis on interpersonal relationships as powerfully impacting quality of life and psychological functioning.  He received his training at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and his bachelor’s degree from Emory University.  He completed his internship at the Montrose Veteran’s Affairs Hospital of New York.
